We are the internet user. Are we not? Every internet user browses web sites. Without web sites Internet is meaningless for most of the user. Am I right or not? When we browse web sites, we have to see the word wwwmostly. Do you know what is www? If you don’t know the meaning of www, you are in right place. Here I am going to explain the meaning of www. Now the question is what is www.

www or 3w:
the full meaning of www or 3w is world wide web . Some user thinks that the www is the internet. But it is not. www is the combined place of web pages where we can get access via internet and web browsers.
we the users get the pages via hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP). Every web page is written by hypertext markup language (HTML), and these web pages are linked with (HTTP). You should remember that Telnet, FTP, Internet gaming, IRC, Email, are the part of Internet but not the part of www.

what is xhtml

In simple word, XHTML is the advance version of HTML. XHTML is use to create web page. The full meaning of XHTML is ‘Extensible hypertext markup language’. Though the main format of XHTML is like of HTML 4.0, but there is some different with them. XHTML is Switched following by the guideline of XML . So we can say that the XHTML is the mixing of HTML and XML.

Some times it is said that XHTML 1.0 is HTML 5.0.
XHTML is Extensible. For that reason the web developers are able to create their own object and tag in their own webpage. in consequence of the developers can control their WebPages to organize the structure and layout.

there is only one thing is needed, and it is “Document Type Definition” (DTD), where the custom tag and the other skill is set to the XHTML pages.

XHTML remove the problems of HTML style formats. To create a strong platform for various web browsers in order to unchanged the WebPages developers need to optimize the layout of the pages.

What is Zone file

Zone file is a name server. We know every website or blog has their own domain name. this name server convert the domain name to IP address . When the users write any domain name in their browser address bar and give command to go, it will first go to the name server and the name server convert it as IP address. This file which contains the data of these domain names is called Zone file. Every zone file contains the map with DNS record list. These records are the data of domain’s name IP address, DNS and mail server’s data.

Zone files are normal text file, that’s why it can be easily editable. That means if any unauthorized person gets access to Zone files, he can easily customized these files. This may cause various problems such as website may not response timely or website may redirect to another address. This is very worse thing, isn’t it? That’s why you should store these file in a high secured place and also should take a backup to another machine.
